Winter Weather Policy In case of inclement Weather, The Norwalk Senior Center will make a decision regarding closing or a delayed opening by 7:00AM. Please tune to TV News Channel 12, WFSB-TV Channel 3, or check www.facebook.com/NorwalkSeniorCenter for closings and delays. We generally follow the Norwalk Public School closing and delay schedule. If closed, there will be no lunch, transportation, programs and/or services.

Annual Holiday Luncheon - Thursday, December 21 @ 11:30AM. Join your friends and family for a festive holiday luncheon of Beef Wellington, Twice Baked Potato, Peas and Mushrooms, Dinner Roll and Holiday Cake. You will be entertained by local entertainers, who will brighten your day as they fill the gym with the bright sounds of the season. Paid Reservations of $10/Members or $12/Non-Members required by Thursday, December 14. The winners of the basket raffles will be drawn after the luncheon. Be sure to visit the basket display in the hallway just past the reception desk. Tickets for raffle are available at the reception desk for $1 each, $5 for eight tickets and $10 for 20 tickets.

Preparing Your Online Estate - Thursday, January 4 @ 10:00AM. Learn how to get your estate in order and save money before you pass on. Emily Wilson Esq., a Norwalk attorney and former NSC Board member, and Jonathan Brown, a NSC Tech Learning Center instructor, will present several useful suggestions pertaining to your saving estate hassles. Their presentation covers the contents and the need for conventional legal documents required by Connecticut probate, doctors and others, where to find these templates and guides on the internet, asset and access issues of your online estate , a simple process to organize your affairs, and some very basic cyber security practices to follow. They also include simple procedures.

Arts & Crafts Show - Wednesday, January 24 @ 10:00AM. Norwalk Senior Center will be holding an Art Show on January 24. With so many talented people in our Center, all are welcome to show your work of painting, drawing, photography, carving, ceramics, knitting, crochet, quilting, sewing and also poetry. Items will not be sold. Please contact Marilyn @ (203) 847-3115 ext. 104 or email msmith@norwalksc.org if you would like to exhibit your work. Please register by Monday, January 22.

Blood Pressure Clinics. Nursing and Home Care, Inc., provides our free bi-monthly clinics on Thursdays. Thursday, December 14 & 28; Thursday, January 11 & 25 @ 10:00AM - Noon.
